Overlooking the sapphire-blue waters of Lake Tahoe, Heavenly is one of the most unique snowsports destinations on the planet. With more terrain variety, more hidden glades, more rippin’ groomers than any Lake Tahoe resort, you've got plenty of decisions to make.

A great ski trip often hinges on the amount of snow available, and Heavenly had tons when we visited in early March. We had one fresh powder day (8 inches overnight) and 1 sunny California day, and 2 others with just a great variety of terrain. Beautiful views of course, lots of areas with low skier traffic, and Mott Canyon... More

Let me preface this by saying that we (including my wife and daughter) have skiied here for years. We have been season pass holders since Vail bought Heavenly in 2002. Although we live in the Bay area, we have probably averaged around 20-25 days a year there. My daughter learned to ski there, and since she was 3 1/2 years... More

This was my first trip to heavenly and I was impressed! The place is huge and has all types of terrain. The views from the top of the mountain are incredible as is the scenery while your skiing. The conditions were ideal and the sunshine was plentiful. Bring your sunscreen and stay hydrated! I purchased my tickets ahead of time... More

Was fortunate to ski 3 different weekends this past winter. Best snow in years. Each and every time the conditions on the slopes were excellent and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Apres Ski at Tamarack is fun. Even got lucky enough to hit 50% off Happy Hour. Cannot wait until next year!

We had skied at Heavenly Valley about 35 years ago and remembered some of the huge snowfalls that occurred back then. After skiing a couple of days in Kimberley, British Columbia we drove south to Lake Tahoe to experience the tremendous amount of snow that has fallen in the Sierras this winter. We arrived in Carson City on March 11... More

We have not been to Heavenly. For Spring ski-ing, we called early to find that the best prices were purchased on-line. We purchased three-day Epic passes. It was eay to redeem them at the California Lodge. The GunBarrel Express was crowd-free and fast. The snow was a bit firm in the morning but softened to a nice texture by 11:00... More

First off, we bought our lift tickets & lessons on line prior to arriving. When we checked in with the ski school, the clerk noticed that we did not buy a bundled package. After a visit to customer service, after consolidating lift passes, we saved $200! Thank you ! Everyone is friendly & helpful. Even when working with jacked up... More

Okay so I purchased the epic Tahoe pass this season so I had access to Northstar, Heavenly & Kirkwood. I went over 20 times this season so these reviews are comparing the 3 resorts. Just some background info! Heavenly was the 2nd best (Northstar in 3rd, Kirkwood the best). This resort is HUGE. I didn't ski half of it and... More
