Amazing adventure on the coast of Pukaskwa with Rick and PJ. I would do it again!

Great beginner kayaking trip along the length of Philip Edward Island. 5 days, 4 nights. We were lucky, it only rained one night and dried quickly. The scenery is so beautiful, big smooth bard pink granite rocks carved by the ice, water & wind. We saw bears (far away ), otter, mink…
We also had the best competent guides (Mikaela and Phil) who love doing this. They were great kayakers, outdoor people, chefs, and teachers!

Great guides. Good gear. Food was healthy and plentiful. Scenery was stunning. Camp sites are unique. We saw bear with cubs, mink, otters and water snake. Kayak skills improved. Highly recommended.

Another wonderful paint and paddle trip with the crew from Horizons Adventures. Sarah, Mikaela and Alex kept us safe and well fed. The watercolour painting was fun and it is always a treat to have Marlies to guide our artistic attempts. Lots of great conversations. Looking forward to next year!!

Second summer for this trip, perfect mix of paddling and painting with water colours. Spectacular scenery, reliable gear , delicious meals , and a rainy day and windy crossing were supported by friendly and skilled guides.

We were on a private trip in Killarney Provincial Park. An amazingly beautiful place. The weather was not so good with lots of rain but one perfect day and another lovely morning/lunch time out on the water and the rocks. Our guides were superb, the food delicious, the kayaks and tents provided excellent. Can’t say enough about our guides Mikaela and Phil. They were so good at guiding us, loved cooking and coming up with such delicious meals and just so nice. Horizons is an excellent company to deal with. Looking forward to the next adventure!

An amazing trip along the most beautiful shores on Lake Superior. Our guides Rick and PJ were excellent. Highly recommend this trip to anyone looking for an adventure.

Lake Superior shore has amazing beauty, 300 foot sheer cliffs, rock formations, caves,long wild beaches, wild water that is crystal clear. We saw lots of eagles and peregrine falcons, petroglyphs and the Pukaskwa pits were interesting and a couple of water falls along the way. Our guides were great, they kept us safe, well fed and helped with anything we needed.

The guides were amazing at going at the pace the group needed. Also, they taught emergency water rescues and exits - so fun!! Definitely recommend.
