Ferry trips sail off quite often from Butuan to Magellanes. It's a cozy ride along the river and you get to see the unique fishing methods with the catapult constructions.

This is one of Mindanao's mighty rivers. Over the years, it has become increasingly silted. The siltation has impeded water flow and has even contributed to flooding along its banks.

Agusan river is a catch basin from the water coming from Davao and Cotabato. This is also serve a short cut and cheaper way going to municipality of Magallanes by boat and nearby barangays of Butuan City.
