We spent a lovely afternoon looking round this museum. There was much to interest us and wasn't all nautical either. Although there was a wonderful boat in the shape of a cygnet. It gave us a good idea of what Topsham would have been like...More

Worth visiting if you are interested in learning about the history of Topsham and what its people achieved. Examples of exotic plants brought back to England from overseas are growing in the garden. Once a port of importace to the area. Opens at 2pm.

Considering this is a free museum, this is an absolute must. It is deceptively big with modern, informative displays. The tea shop was great too, run by enthusiastic volunteers.
