I think if you go with the right expectations this is a great place for primary school aged kids. It claims to be a science museum but it is more correctly a great big indoor interactive playground loosely based around the theme of science. The interactivity is great, the displays are new and not broken yet (unlike many UK exhibits),... More

Great fun for younger kids. My eldest is 10yrs. I think for kids 14 and up it may be a little boring. But my 3 kids love it !!!! Everything is "hands on" !!! Kids learn while they play . There is a cafeteria there with ok food as well. I would recommend it, especially for a rainy day👍

Travelling Europe with a now 8yr old we have visited many a Science park, theme park, museum and aquarium.........this by far the best. It brought out the child in me and I found myself bickering with my son over where we should go next! As I walked around I noted I was not the only adult displaying such behaviour. The... More

Had a fabulous time with my 2 and a half year old. Loads to do, many bathrooms and lockers to make things easier. Very friendly and helpful staff. The activities were so good we just spent our whole day on the 2nd floor. Would love to go explore this again and do the other stuff.

Having experienced other science museums this one is definitely not living up to its potential. It is rather expensive for what you get, and in our experience it was a huge playground with a vague scientific theme instead of a science center focussed on supporting kids' learning. The exhibits did not go out of their way to urge the children... More

We popped in to have a look as free with our copenhagen cards and ended up staying an hour and completing all the team activities ( it was on Paper Island when we visited - not sure if now relocated). You get a record (photos and videos) of all the activities your team completes which makes it fun ( we... More

Fun day at Experimentarium, which targets both young and older kids. Our children (10 and 12 years old) were particularly enthusiastic about the interactive movie theatre, the area of logistics assignments, the laser harp and the invention area. Two downsides: 1) It's expensive, 2) The newly renovated Experimentarium was packed with people - so I suggest to come early or... More

We love Experimentarium! Brilliant place to spend a day, lots of great activities for the whole family. We bought the annual pass and have been every week since, kids never tire of it. Ate for the first time in the restaurant today and it was good. Enjoy!

Last time I was here (2015) the ticket price was DKK105, and now it is a rather pricy 195 for an adult! It has been rebuilt, and only open roughly ten days, but several things were not working and instructions as to what to do at various stations were in our opinion poor. Still, its gotten impressively large and an... More
