I found this chucrch during the driving to the factory where i was working on. There are several church on this town , all of them very nice and big....this one instead made me stop the driver because it looked different than all the most of Russian, smaller than usually and look peacefull. deserve a stop for seing.

Probably the oldest standing monument in Pereslavl-Zalessky, breath-takingin its beauty, with the green domes integrated with the green grass and tress around it. Very few people (if at all) to disturb your calm admiration of this pearl of ancient Russian architecture. Do not leave town without seeing it.

This is one of the oldest stone churches that did not destroyed. The wall paintings were removed from it and lost in the 19th century, the other values were looted by Soviet authority. A 12th century building still breathing in this era. Other than the historical there is nothing much to add, as there are only walls inside. Makes for a nice photo op and thats it...!!
