Sagadi manor complex includes the Sagadi Forest Museum, which displays things connected with Estonian forests and forestry, including hunting, woodwork and the environment. Here you can see both traditional and modern ways of working in the forest, tools used for planting, measuring and cutting trees, hunting trophies, mushrooms, and insects; you can notice the interrelationship of the biota of the forest and much more.

Sagadi Forest Museum is a really excellent museum. It is particularly well-suited for visiting with children. All descriptions are also available in English.
The museum builders are top professionals in their field and true experts. As a teacher, I could imagine bringing a class of students of different ages here.

A ticket to the forest museum gives you access to the Sagadi manor as well.
I found the forest museum interesting. Lots of info about the kind of trees and animals that live in the Lahemaa NP. Luckily all information was also available in English. Downstairs there was extra exhibition, but the info there was only in Estonian.
The museum has also a very nice shop with - ofcourse - many things in wood. I bought some very original and inexpensive souvenirs here.

This is a nice museum about the history of the forest and it’s creatures. It’s not big but there is a lot of information. And it’s also all available in English which is nice. I liked the info on the animals the most.

We paid €6.00 per adult for the two museums in the compound and had a great time.
The ground floor exhibits don’t have any explanations in English but upstairs, which is the most interesting part, does.
Very interesting and informative.

The Sagadi Manor House is inferior by far to Palmse, but for some reason tours include both. The highlight is probably the 19th c. Bathroom which is worth a look. I thought the Forest Museum utterly forgettable though the attached shop had some nice local products, including attractive but very expensive woollen socks - the connection to the forest being that according to the label the dyes used are derived from fungi.
I'm wondering whether that should be lichen, rather than fungi.

Estonians love their forest they made me love it too. The museum has a lot of nice things about it, interesting facts, animals, food, timber... There is also a shop where you can buy all sort of stuff. I bought a "knife" to cut butter, made of a very nice perfumed wood. You should definitely go

This is a small but beautifully designed RMK - Estonian State Forest Service Museum. Using natural history specimens, contemporary and historical forestry equipment it tells the story of the areas forests. The Museum is well-designed and atmospheric. The staff are friendly and helpful and there is a small but well stocked shop

It's very nice place to stop by with your family. Small but interestring museum. Me and my family visit this museum every summer.

Sagadi Manor is beautiful, big park and well reastaured buildings. Even the weather was not good we enjoyed to walk around. There is hotel, restaurant, museum. The Manor has a lovely big pond - this would be a very nice Place for wedding or similar party!

The exhibition was interesting for kids, as we do not live in Europe the kids liked the insect and butterfly sections. Kids enjoyed the first floor butterfly puzzle in the kids corner.
