The lagunas are nice but the drive getting there was for us the best part. If you do the round trip to see the lakes it is beautiful and so scary at the same time. It is not allowed to go there when it rains and I understand why, a narrow road that has a very loose ground.

Jujuy is not just ravines!!!
New arrivals from this beautiful province.-
Seven days where we toured the ravine in a private way, taking into account the road closures...IT IS POSSIBLE!!!! .-
The last few days we settled in S S DE JUJUY and there we contacted Noelia, a total genius!!! With her we made the LAGUNAS DE YALA, ANGOSTO DE JAIRE and TIRAXI with its waterfall....really everything was wonderful, from the landscapes, with its lush vegetation to the warmth of Noelia, with her deep knowledge of the place.-
We did Rural Tourism...We had lunch and a snack at his CASA DE CAMPOS LAS HORQUETAS homemade products made by his mother Yolanda, We had empanadas for lunch...The tastiest ones we ate in Jujuy!!!!, and at snack we delighted in the sweets homemade from Yolanda's genius.-
The trails to travel gave us beautiful landscapes. I highly recommend them!!! Something to know differently...Don't miss it!!
Noelia's phone number to contact is: 3885-14-0340
He has lodging in his country house.-

You can only go up in a 4 x 4. Since we had rented a car, they advised us to walk up, it is torture, 8 km of gravel with slippery stones and uphill. We arrived at the first lagoon and it was taken by someone who built a house and we couldn't get through. And the last one, the one at the top of the mountain, the water is stagnant with a rotten smell and of course swimming is prohibited 🚫! I wasn't going to get into that filth either.
Do not go!
