Quite interesting to drive over The Tay Road Bridge to St Andrews & see rail bridge too
May 2021
Quite interesting to drive over the road bridge and when get to the other side if you park up can take photos of both road bridge and then further down you can park and walk to where the rail bridge comes over. There is a sign about the Tay Disaster which you may have heard of.

Best driving experience in a long time.

Superb views across the Tay estuary. Drove Dundee to Fife and just fabulous 50mph at 2.2 kilometres doesn't last long enough.

Stopped of at the car park on the Fife side of the bridge on sat to use the toilet facilities as I had a medical emergency unfortunately they were closed due to COVID
I asked the lady at the coffee kiosk if she had a key and she said no. I asked to use her toilet and let her see my Medicard but she still said she had no toilet despite the door at the back of the kiosk with a toilet sign on it? . I was very stressed and upset and needless to say was in a state when I got home .
Why can’t a disabled toilet be in operation I have a key so if this was the case things would have had a better outcome.
For a place to sell coffee and have no toilets in use is very bad business.and the kiosk should be closed until further notice the same as the toilets.

Bridge across the Tay.
Sep. 2020
This is quite simply a modern bridge between the city of the Dundee which crosses the Tay to the Fife coast and St. Andrews. Apart from the easy contact between the city and Fife there are also good views from the bridge.

Functional road bridge
Aug. 2019
The tay road bridge is functional and links Dundee with the Fife coast and St Andrews. It does give a good vista of the surrounding area, the silvery Tay and the rail bridge.

Not sure if it was my car or the road surface, but it seemed a little bumpy crossing the bridge. Maybe next time I’ll walk across.

Quick crossing

I was a bit nervous on this bridge as it does not have high sides and it is rather strange when driving over it. It certainly get you from one side of the river to another quickly

It's a bridge

Does exactly what its supposed to do. Connects 2 different places over water, cause it's a bridge and that's what they do.

One of the longest road bridges in Europe
Jul. 2019 • Couples
The bridge open in 1966 it has a pedestrian walkway sitting in the middle of the bridge giving panoramic landscape views ,popular with Joggers, walkers and cyclists . The bridge is higher at the south end There is a good car park with toilets at the north end with plenty on information boards on the bridge

Simple and functional

Although the bridge has a fairly basic appearance it has a simple beauty. It looks great against a setting sun.
