It used to be fun and it still is going to "Tags" as we used to call it. One will enjoy unplanned trips challenged in selecting a themed food offered by many restos from the expensive to the budgeted. Patience as a virtue must be...More

Great scenery but the pony "mule train" to the top made us feel as a source of income and being exploited rather than rewarding for a service. Hundreds of ponies so big business and the well worn narrow rocky trail would not be safe to...More

A Saturday well spent. The urge to get out of Manila for the day was palpable and as a lot of us have experienced, traffic really does hinder going anywhere. We did some research and came across the 'Filipino Travel Center' who were great and...More

Taal Volcano is an inactive volcano that sits in Taal Batangas. It provides very beautiful scenery for the tourists in Tagaytay city. Very attractive and unforgettable creation of nature.

Though I have visited olcano Island in the past, its still spectacular to watch the island, and the small dead volcano within the lake. It is a sight to behold and one which will give an essence of Nature's Beauty. Taal Volcano Island is visible...More

For a non-hiker like me, going up to the see the actual crater of this volcano by foot is a real challenge. But I would rather do that than put my weight on the poor ponies (most of them are small and looked poorly nourished!)...More

Fresh air and fantastic view. While it is nice to visit for a picturesque landscape, after having coffee there is nothing else to do. Expect to spend maximum 1 hour here. A stop over on your way to the beach.

You can always hire a car/taxi to get there. It is cost about 4500 peso for a car and upon reaching you need to get a boat for 2000 peso to cross the island. Is good if you have a group to share the cost. This is the driver... More
