Traveler pics are too deceiving. The church is old but the charm is still there despite the age. Vendors swarm the area which are mysteriously missing in hi res pictures taken by travelers. Include in your mandatory tour.

Best way os by SLEX then Startollway get off at Lipa City then follow road to Lemery. Lemery is next to Taal

ride a bus going to Lemery Batangas and from there ride a jeepney going to Taal. Not sure about the accomodation though since we only stayed there for a whole day trip. You can search here in Tripadvisor for any deals.
