I have walked Rouvas Gorge on three occasions. Once when it started to rain we had to return because rocks were falling on us from high above and twice in hot dry conditions. It is a fairly challenging walk and not really suitable for children....More

A great walk, but it can be hot. Not particularly well maintained but as long as you are careful it is very rewarding

We went on the walk on a hot day in July from Zaros lake through the Rouvas forest. There was no trouble finding Zaros lake, parking or finding the path. Beware, at this time, the stream and waterfall will be completely dried up. However the...More

The first half of the walk is not too arduous, the views are nice and there are many different plants and flowers to see. Lots of goats too. From the waterfall (a trickle when we went), it is a steep climb and the path ran...More

Three of us hiked the gorge last Friday on a perfectly beautiful day. Spring wildflowers are in full bloom; even the wild Cala lillies are still in full bloom at higher elevations. The holly forest and Oleander trees are worth the walk by themselves. Be...More

Nice walk and a good length. You really do need good boots as reviews suggest. Rocks are large and sharp. Saw several people starting out in flip flops..... bonkers! Problem is that the path becomes very narrow with big drops near the top and gravel...More
