We are a family run (4th generation) boutique wine producer in the Great Southern wine region, which uses 100% estate fruit for our 5 star rated wines by James Halliday. We have a cellar door which is open Friday to Monday 10:00am to 5:00pm. Our vines range from 20 to 32 years old.

Attached to our cellar door is our café which is also open Friday to Monday 10:00am to 5:00pm. We use fresh local regional produce in our café along with fresh produce from our culinary garden which we welcome you to explore.

We welcome you to come and explore what we have to offer. We look forward to showcasing our premium wines and lovely food.

If I lived locally I would make this place a regular haunt. We had a crisp white Riesling with our shared platter and we were not disappointed. The staff were happy & obliging & made suggestions for other sites to visit. We left with another bottle of wine.

Escape the highway and literally watch the buds bursting into spring. A delightful garden outlook over a productive veggie patch and beyond to yellow canola fields. Always enjoy dining at Gilberts Winery - always a great selection of delicious food to compliment outstanding wines. Attention to detail and always friendly. Love this Spot

WOW!! What an awesome lunch. Thank you so much to the staff at Gilbert's for providing us with such great service, amazing wine and perfectly balanced food. So great to see wineries in the Great Southern maintaining their focus on wine and promoting local produce in their dishes. Can't wait to come back!

Had a lovely late lunch with friends, wine perfectly complemented the food which was of a very high standard. We were lucky enough to be there during Marron month, so a beautiful bisque and some succulently grilled, locally sourced marron were enjoyed by the whole table of 10. Can't wait to book again and have yet another wonderful afternoon enjoying... More

What a lovely place Gilberts winery and cafe is. Such a picturesque location, enjoyable selection of wine and the food....oh my goodness, the food is quite simply divine. The hot beef pies are better than my grandma could ever dream of conjuring up on those cold winter days and the bisque had just the right amount of peppercorn added to... More

It's rare you leave a restaurant and need to pull over to throw up 5 minutes later, but this was the reality after a recent visit here A bisque starter - perhaps one of the easiest dishes to throw together was laden with whole peppercorns. Not one or two, but minus the many I had already bit into, I extracted... More

Such an enjoyable experience. Great little Winery, staff so friendly and welcoming. While the main menu is small they have selected fabulous dishes which are reasonably priced. Tasty, fresh and full of flavour. I had an awesome chicken curry and rice dish, while my husband chose the pie with tasty mashed potatoes and side vegetables. Definately recommend this wonderful place.... More

We love this place and visit here every June long weekend, the Gilbert family are really friendly and their wines are very good. We always have lunch and although the menu is small the food quality is generally good. On this occasion we both ordered the pie with mash and salad. The pie was served in a ceramic dish with... What a delightful jewel to stop at. The wine is very palatable either white or red and the restaurant is great for a meal or snack. Have a chat to the Gilbert Brothers they are delightful young men. A teacher, accountant and doctor. This is one place we try to stop at on our way to Albany.
