We went to this lovely beach & it was so pretty to see & to swim in. Like all Thai beaches it was crowded but once you find your own little space it is a delight to be at. Water is clear & warm, well...More

I got lucky on the day I visited because waves were calm. For many days (during the monsoon), boat rides (for the whole day) got cancelled. Buy the tickets for 200baht at the Ao Nang longtail boat service club. When getting on the longtail, try...More

The weather was great for us during our 3 day stay on Railay. The beaches are nice. Viewpoints are hard to access but a good challenge if you're up to it (see Railay Viewpoint for review). Nice island pace. Lots of "happy" places for those...More

We caught a long boat from Ao Nang to Railay beach in the morning. It was high tide and the waves were hitting the wall, meaning everyone had to wade through the water for about 100m until getting to the beach. This was bad for...More

This beach is often described as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Is it really?! Well, I don't think it is. It's definitely very pretty. Though what you don't see on the pictures and postcards are the unpleasantly looking old hotels and...More

Its best to stay in railay west beach rather then just a day trip. We were able to enjoy the sun set and the sound of the waves in the evening and night. At night is when the party starts at walking street which is...More

Very nice, postcard beach. Noise from the longtail boats can get irritating but you get use to it. Water clean, no corals, warm and not deep. lenty of shops and restaurants. Go there!

I did not see any lockers but if you only take a small amount of money for food and drinks and leave valuables at your accommodation. Bags and towels etc seem pretty safe on the beach, we left ours but we were only swimming... More

If you are talking about IBIS Aonang (in Krabi) then Aonang beach is not far from your hotel (approx 15 minutes walk). Long tail boats are regularly plying from Aonang beach to Railey beach. This boat will take another 15~20... More
