Have been inside before, but not on my latest visit to Burano due to lack of time, unfortunately. The tower, which leans at what appears to be an alarming angle, is visible in the Venetian Lagoon for miles around. As with many churches in Venice...More

Not really and despite the tower has also a recognizable inclination this is a more or less typical Italian church with classical catholic interior.

The church is visible as well as slightly inclined, and is impressive. The whole scenery of church, waterfront, boats and colorful houses make it a beautiful to be photographed. Nice place to take a relaxing stroll on.

This is a place you must visit if you are in Venice. An interesting and quiet island of fishermen and normal people that live in the island. They seem to be friendly. Watch out for the inclined tower, a terrific way to know where you...More

The initial attraction is the leaning bell tower but inside is simply but ornately decorated. Not many visitors to the island actually enter the church so it is a peaceful place to relax and enjoy the calming interior.

I greatly enjoyed this church. Please respect the church and use one of the scarves to cover up, even for children. This was a nice surprise.

If your kids ever watched Ballamorey...with all the coloured houses...well you'll appreciate just how quaint and different this wee island is. Hop on and off using water taxi...stroll around and enjoy the local bakery...as we did. I reckon an hour here is enough for a...More

nice little church on burano, ladies should cover their shoulders with the shawls provided a the entrance, interesting little church, and we lit a candle for a loved one that had recently passed away.

The island is very beautiful and colourful. Each building a vivid blue or red or yellow. Small narrow alleyways and walkways along side canals. Best known for the intricate lace work. You can reach via a tour or the public boat transit.

The island is so beautiful. The tower is a photo op and the church is lovely inside. Not worth going just to see this but the island is small and this is worth a stop while there.

When in Burano, you can easily spot this church with it's leaning bell tower. Other than that nothing too interesting really.

The leaning bell tower gets your attention. The amazing beauty inside the building is worth the view while visiting this cool Venetian island. Antique art and mosaic artwork and statues, all beautiful.
