Sommerland is so nice. You pay at the entrance and then you don't have to pay any more inside. There are places for the small toddlers and older kids and even one rollercoaster which is quite scary :-) And then you can bring you own picnic if you don´t want to buy expensive junk food and sit on the grass... I have visited this park every year now for best part of 10 years. It's a Wicksteed Park equivalent with sporadic rides spread over many acres of land. The best part is the water park and slides. The entry price goes up every year but I don't see any real improvements. Once in the park all the rides are FOC.... More

We went to this amusement park without any expectations, and were positively surprised. It is not brand new, but clean and tidy. I guess you easily could spend a couple of days here with kids. The water park had cold water, and we were a bit disappointed about that and hence did not spend much time there. Beware of the... More

Heaps of fun for a reasonable price (book online in advance for additional savings). Bring your lunch and beverages and leave it in the car while you roam around in the morning, then pick it up and use the free BBQ.

Great mini-put area with rides for the small children (2-5 years). Children 6-13 will injoy the day too, with rides suitable for older children, but I believe it is best for smaller children. Older children will probably find other parks better.

Sommerland Sjælland is a perfect day out for a family with young children. The variety of rides, attractions and playgrounds is very extensive. The park is divided into several zones, some of them themed: a Western-style village, an area with rides for the youngest visitors … We brought two 2.5 year olds and they had a blast. I can imagine... More

I like Sommerland better every time I go. It is not an amusement park, but has some basics like a rollercoaster, it has lots of green outdoor space and fabulous playgrounds for every age. It has nature (including a lake with boats) as well as action stuff (fantastic big water fun area around a number of large water slides that... More

We visited Sommerland Sjælland for 10 hours. It is a great place to spend a day. It is not a fancy park, but it is indeed a place to visit for your family. Lots of sqr-mtrs makes the park not seem crowded at all. The attractions isn´t big rollercoasters, but nice things to try. It´s feels safe to let the... More

disneyland without the queues, more rustic, and great variety of fun stuff. Go Carts racing, water slides and pools, roller coaster, mini obstacles courses in a forested area, etc...

Visited for the first time on one of the hottest days of the year and feared the holiday crowds, but our fears were put to shame: Even though the parking lots were quickly filling up, this place - set in lush Danish countryside - holds the big crowds very well as it's well spread out over a larger area. The... More
