Khan Kheow open Zoo is easy to find in the way from BKK to Pattaya just off the Highway. The Zoo is quiet big and can be entered with your own Car. You can rent Golf Carts (recommend) or jump on any of the Hop on-off buses. There are loads of animals to see here and most of them seem... More

This is a very interesting place..... totally recommend getting a golf buggy, and not going over new years as it is packed (free for locals So very popular). Go early as the park is circular, we went around 3 times. You can feed almost every animal - giraffe, elephant.... white tigers, lions, jaguar.... crazy but true. It's much much much... More

We took a visit on 1/Jan/2017 for 3 adults and one kid. We can drive the car into the zoo. Admission for adult is 100 Baht/person. For the car, they charged 50 Baht. We arrived ther around 9:00 a.m. Lucky that the weather on that day was good. A bit cold in the morning and not too much sun shine.... More

We were given a free tour of the zoo in an open tram after we completed the Flight of the Gibbons zip line activity. It was nice to see most of the animals in the open though some of the enclosures looked pretty small. Some of the animals like the Otters delighted the children. It was really quite packed as... We are not really zoo people but this was different. It was a fun experience to see the animals out in the open. You can purchase food when entering the park to feed the animals. It is cheaper than buying at the actual zoo. We also suggest renting the golf cart because it is easier to get in and out... More

This place has an awesome range of wildlife from around the world! Elephant safari and animal feeding is available. About 45 mins ride from Bangkok or Pattaya. Penguin show is another attraction! Requires a full day for visit.

If you want to spend a nice day with your family or by yourself (as I did), visit this strange zoo - something in between a safari zoo and a normal one - and appreciate the variety and healthiness of animals. You can either use your car for visiting the zoo or rent a golf cart (which can be parked... More
