The beautiful scenery of Land's End has made it one of Britain's favourite destinations for days out. Located at the westernmost point of Cornwall, you can appreciate fully how the relationship between land and sea is constantly changing.Parking your car is the only thing you have to pay for, and you can then walk the clifftops to see how Cornwall changes from season to season, or contemplate the thousands of miles of the Atlantic Ocean which begin at the First and Last Point. No visit is complete without having your picture taken at the famous land's end signpost. Then do a spot of souvenir shopping at the West Country Shopping Village, before taking time out to relax in the Land's End Bar and Restaurant. When it comes to finding things to do in Cornwall, the very tip of the county makes a great starting point for discovering all the places to visit.

First family trip to Cornwall and we wanted to say we had been to Land's End and have our photo taken by the iconic sign post. I had read the negative reviews on here so I honestly wasn't expecting to be blown away. I can echo what most people have said. The landscape itself is worth a trip and I... More

Land's End is worth a visit, but, if you're able to manage it, I would recommend parking in Sennen Cove (there are plenty of places to park cheaply), and walking the coast path along to Land's End. There are beautiful views, and look out for the shipwreck on the way. Once you get to Land's End it is kind of... More

First visited as an 11year old child, so this was a nostalgic visit. We expected to pay for parking but thought £5 was a bit expensive, when we could have parked all day for that amount in many local towns. We arrived early so much of the commercial stuff was closed, but we aren't into tourist items etc, just printed... More

Just to say you've been. Tick it off the list. Amazing views all around nice coastal walks etc. Actual centre is super cheesy and a lot of it not really necessary tbh just cashing in on the landmark but you cant blame them.

As many have stated, if you like tat and expensive 'experiences' that don't really have much to do with the location, the visitor centre will be right up your street! Even the iconic sign has been commandeered exclusively for expensive photos. Not sure why people go apoplectic about the £5 parking charge though, as it isn't any better or worse... More

I had never been to Land's End before this week. I wanted to go, really just to say that I had been to the very toe of England. I had looked the place up beforehand, and so knew there was a large visitor centre there. But nothing had prepared me for the shock of the absolute eyesore of a building... More

We visited Land's End on a day trip on the motorbike. Parking was £1 which we felt very reasonable. After reading recent write-ups we expect a disappointing, 'cheesy' experience but were pleasantly surprised. Although busy, it was a beautiful sunny day albeit windy - not a shock considering where we were! There were several food and drink vendors around the... More

Firstly, £5 to park is steep by any standard. Few people are going to take advantage of the fact that it's a reusable ticket. it's a day trip. If we weren't a family with kids visiting i would have been annoyed at this price. The staff were helpful and we bought a family saver ticket. it was worth it. But... More
