We enjoyed walking along the malecon several times - late afternoon in the rain and early morning. Both times it was enjoyable - and hot - and in places there was a lot of trash from the gulf. Here: the city would do well to...More

We walked along the sea for miles but I nearly melted. Worth it. Will be back for more. Quiet (ignore the traffic) and very calming.

We loved Campeche, it was such a relaxed place with a lovely, friendly vibe. The waterfront is a great place for a stroll with nice views of the water and the city itself. Plenty of nice photo opportunities and places to sit and relax, some...More

It felt so refreshing after a hot day by walking along the waterfront in the late afternoon. Great view!

This is one of the best and longest promenades I have ever seen and it is great for walking or biking. There are many stops along the way and all with beautiful water views.

It has a rather extended waterfront- nicely made for walking and biking. Bike riders have their own lane. What distracts from the the beautiful view is the sea weed that washes up. Don't walk it when it is hot because there is not shade.

I rollerblade, run and bike and when I saw this gorgeous Malecon, I saw possibilities and many mornings and evening of activities. A must see!

Although it's a nice promenade it's not really attractive to stroll for miles and miles. The road next to it is quite busy. Good for a walk and to take in the fresh seabreeze.

A bit of a confusion of modern and not very creative buildings but it comes into its own at Carnaval time, when it should not be missed.

No beaches but well planned and executed male con. Locals abound and are friendly. Plenty of places to stop an dress for the loss ambitious. Seperate paved lanes for walkers, bikes and runners.
