This stop is really worth your time. The formations and colors in the rocks are simply beautiful. It reminded me of Monument Valley in the US.

We stopped at the fairy tale canyon on our way from Issyk-Kol to Karakol. It's a very short drive off the highway to the parking area and a very easy hike to the main area. I believe you can hike much farther into the canyon...More

One of the most beautiful places, a Must See in Kyrghyzstan. This Fairy mountains are so majestic, the time stops here...you can feel how Powerful and gorgeous is the Nature!

In the guidebook, this area was aptly described as a poor cousin of Bryce Canyon. There are some beautiful rock formations, and color combinations. It is worth a visit if in the area.

You can leave it in the car or if not, you can leave it at the entrance to the Canyon and pay a fee 50 SOM.
