The 4-5 hour return boat trip down river was excellent. Norm, our captain was knowledgeable and provided great commentary. Lunch (wrap, muffin, Juice) was tasty and filling. It rained heavily during our trip but this only added to the wilderness and rainforest experience.More

Unsealed road commences at Savage River. Is a decent quality road however slightly narrow in parts. Exercise caution on some bends. A speed of 40-50k/ph is achievable in good daytime weather.
