We live locally so we take our visitors here. We don't tire of it, it's always nice to look round again, and they have a lovely cafe there now which is worth a visit of it's own!

An absolute gem just off of the High Street. The museum is great for adults and children alike. With it not being overly large you can take everything in without feeling rushed and still have time to enjoy a coffee and cake in the fab...More

Visited with a group of friends, entrance is free but the opportunity is there to give a suggested donation of £3. We spent about two hours looking around the playground, school rooms & shop. The classrooms are set in different ages & tells the story...More

Much belated reply (sorry) for future information - am only just getting to understand TripAdvisor! We are unable to accommodate dogs in the museum and coffee shop, except guide dogs, mainly because of restricted space... More

Thursday to Saturday 10am to 4pm. Sunday 11am to 4pm (with the school canteen opening from 10.30am)
