What a wonderful way to spend a few hours! The children were so excited turning up outside! The room we went in to make the puppets is gorgeous and the children felt happy and inspired. They had so much fun putting the puppets together (with help!) and loved decorating and painting the puppets.
They had fun creating a show at the end and took so much delight in carrying them away in their special boxes.
Shop also worth a visit. Don’t hesitate just book. Wonderful owner thank you so much!!

What a charming place. An Aladdin’s cave of all things puppet. The number of puppets available is mind boggling and you can even make your own.

The ladies are so helpful and friendly. They also helped me to adopt two fox puppets!

If you have children it is definitely worth a visit. Where we were staying two little girls were putting on plays with their new toys. Even without children it is worth a visit. It brought back lovely memories for me and I am sure it will for others.

They even have a theatre at the back and are a community funded enterprise.

My sister was the one that went to the shop. She saw a wonderful Harry Pottter puppet in the window and knew that I would love it. They explained that normally people make them. My sister didn’t have time to do that but discussed me being a teacher and how much I would enjoy them and so ordered the puppet out of the window. After a birthday celebration my sister gave me an padded envolope. Inside we both had a surprise. They had not just sent Harry but Ron, Hermionie and Draco too along with a lovely note, explaining that they had begun some but because of what my sister had tills then about me decided to finish them and send them all. I was over the moon and can’t wait to introduce them all to my new class in September. They are amazing! I just wish my school was closer as I think it would be a fantastic activity for them to do. They really went above and beyond! Thank you!

Whilst holidaying in West Runton or any town nearby this venue is worth a visit. There is a great array of traditional toys & puppets to make/play with and buy. The owner takes her time with each individual and you are never rushed at this establishment. We booked our 3 granddaughters into a puppet making session with the chance to use a fully equipped theatre at the back of the shop. The girls all loved this experience. Whilst we were there customers from a previous day came to show what they had made.
Don't pass by this shop even if you don't have children with you there will be something to take your interest.

We had a wonderful, magical morning here! My daughters, aged 7 and 6, loved the process of making their own puppets. The staff were incredibly patient and kind, and there are so many exciting decorations and embellishments to add to the puppets. There was no feeling of being rushed, and it was great to get creative. After making the puppets, we then had unlimited time in the puppet theatre, where there was loads of dressing up clothes and puppets to create their own shows. We were treated to (and participated in when allowed!) Robin Hood, Sleeping Beauty and Goldilocks, all with imaginative twists such as a pet snake! Karen, who runs the shop, is clearly passionate about her work and has brilliant ideas. Thank you so much!!

This is such a wonderful little shop. The window displays are beautiful, and there is so much to look at inside as well! Our sixth month old daughter was captivated-as were we! The service is so friendly and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back.

Whilst staying at the Caravan and Motorhome Club at Incleboro Fields, West Runton, my wife and I walked passed this shop and our attention was attracted by a large cabinet outside the shop, full of teddy bears waiting for a new home. We sent a photo of the cabinet to our daughter and her fiancé, who immediately fell in love with them all, but chose to rehome three. Inside the shop was a very nice and helpful lady, who explained about her work and associated charities. The shop was full of a variety of soft toys, puppets, games and books. Well worth a visit if you are in the area. Be prepared to leave with something cuddly at a reasonable price.

My family of 2 & 4 years couldn’t walk past this hidden diamond of an old world toy shop. Worm welcome from enthusiastic and informative, genially lovely people. The shop offers a build your own puppet, creative class for all ages. Incredible!
Wooden toys, puppets, pocket money gifts made for a worth while stop.

Visited with our grandchildren aged 8 and 3 for a wonderful experience. They were able to have lots of fun creating puppets then to visit the actual puppet theatre in the garden with an amazing variety of puppets, costumes and toys to play with. An adventure for us all.

We’ve just had a wonderful morning at Pedlar’s Barrow making puppets and wands, followed by a Harry Potter puppet theatre. A magical experience enjoyed by all the family.
