This resort is actually a self-contained working coconut plantation and features a museum, bamboo rafts, a rural village tour and a restaurant underneath a waterfall.

Its a big place but really maintained. The historical church looked like a musuem with waxed animals and stuff. The pool was small. They have a huge pavilion (I think) where dancers would showcase their talents. But I guess what I liked most was the...More

Second trip for my hubby and myself; and a first for our granddaughter. Since the place opened at 11am, we decided to have lunch first. Our waiter brought our foods -- impressive service!! Only drawback during our lunch was the flies/bees hovering over our foods....More

About an hour drive from Manila, and yet you feel world away. The resort is well maintained. They have taken great care to make sure your experience, from being serenaded while on a carabao drawn wagon, is close to authentic. The meal in the river...More

They served crappy food on my sister's wedding reception. Nothing on our original agreed menu was followed. We were surprised that a completely different menu was served to our local and foreign guests. Villa Escudero failed us. It is a shame that we trusted them...More

This is an "all in one" resort. With museum, trails, rafting, clear swimming pools, carabao ride, good food at reasonable price, and most importantly, outstanding cultural presentation, two thumbs up. Highly recommended.

The best and unique experience you can only get here is the buffet lunch at the foot of a man-made falls. I love the experience of dining with the flowing water on my feet! Ride on a carriage pulled by a Carabao. You can rent...More
