Was our first Mayan site, and loved it! Quiet, relaxing site, impressive view across the whole valley if you dare to climb up to the top of the pyramid (last stage is really steep). The ruins are well preserved with even some stuco and pigment...More

Wish the place were more famous because it is incredible. You can climb to the very top of the seven level structure. The view is breathtaking. The restaurant/cabin serves great coffee. Also try the cheesecake, made with local edam cheese. I was staying in Ocosingo...More

This unknown or less popular archeological site is amazing for its condition and the views are stunning. A must see. You are allowed to climb and to get inside the pyramids. The condition of the murals is fantastic.

Don't miss this beautifully maintained and restored Mayan pyramid complex. Set in beautiful countryside, the pyramid rises up and up, through several chambers, royal living quarters and holy places. Views in all directions, wonderful pre-Columbian carvings. A breathtaking site.

We enjoyed it very much as part of a trip with other places on the way to palenque, almost no people on the site which makes it real special climbing to the top!
