A great day out almost spoiled by the fact that the carpark was crammed full of people NOT visiting the museum. We were advised that these were most likely visitors to the conference facilities and received an apology from a lovely lady on reception. We were really lucky to find a space. The museum itself however didn't disappoint.....lots to see... More

Visited on a Tuesday - arrived 11.30 am - only one parking space left, others following us in riding round and round trying to find somewhere to park. Complained when we went in to reception to pay and were told by staff it was a constant problem they had tried to cope with but the maurading Jaguar and Land Rover... More

Came here not quite knowing what to expect having been to quite a few motor museums. It certainly exceeded expectations, it's a great collection of British cars but so well laid out. Not overwhelmingly big, but laid out in a way that you can divide it into manageable 'bite-sized' chunks if you so wish. Another plus is how the cars... More

We visited during half term expecting it to be crowded but the museum is so well laid out it swallows a large number of visitors with ease! You can get up close with a wide range of vehicles from history and there's enough information to read about too. We did the Lego build which was great fun, watched a film... More

If you are (like I was) at a loose end and have a passion for things on 4 wheels then take a trip over to Gaydon. With over 300 exhibits to see you will not be disappointed. It's safe to say that it's probably the best layed out museum I've visited. The cars are the stars of the show obviously... More

Spent the afternoon looking at some great examples of the British motor industry. Great prototype examples and first and last off vehicles from production runs. Helpful and knowledgeable staff on hand who are more than happy to answer any questions. Well worth a visit

Absolutely a great day out for anyone with an interest in British cars of the Austin - Morris, Rover, Land Rover brand. The restaurant is very good and reasonably priced just make sure to give yourself time and not to rush the experience.

The museum seems well run, with helpful staff, and is reasonably priced at £14, which allows return visits for a year. However, the selection of vehicles is not remotely representative of the British motor industry, it seems that the museum is largely made up of the collections of the Jaguar and British Leyland groups. The only Rolls Royce is a... More
