The leaflet looked nice and had several boat tours on offer but unfortunately we never managed to get on a boat! The booking process was fine. The lady at the desk was friendly and tried to find free slots for our family of 4. Within 1 hour from booking our trip we received a phone message that our trip would be on a different day even though our ticket shows the day we booked for. After calling the office to check, another lady confirmed to us that we were correct and didn’t understand why we called to check! On the day of the trip (3 days from when we originally booked), the weather was pretty bad but never the less we went to the tour office ready for our trip. When we arrived at the office in the morning to register, we were told “didn’t you get the message?!”. Basically due to bad weather our boat trip was cancelled! We were annoyed because we didn’t get any new messages and we had to get up quite early and then drive more than 1 hour to get there and then told our trip was cancelled. Bad communication.... our trip was rescheduled to another day but we decided to cancel instead. I suppose it was just bad luck with the weather but the tip for all of you is that if you see that the weather is bad then maybe you need to call the tour office the day before to check and make sure the boat trip is still on. Lesson learned for me and unfortunately we had to deal with a couple of unhappy kids too. Maybe we will try again another year.

La semaine a en effet été compliquée en raison de la météo et nous regrettons que vous n'ayez pas pu effectuer la traversée avec nous comme prévu. Lorsqu'un bateau est annulé , nous mettons tout en oeuvre pour prévenir le plus tôt possible les passagers afin qu'ils puissent s'organiser et que l'on décale (si possible pour eux) la date de la traversée. Malheureusement nous n'avons pas réussi à vous joindre à temps. Nous espérons tout de même vous revoir très vite et que vous puissiez apprécier, dans les meilleures conditions, une traversée avec notre compagnie. Très bonne journée.

We booked the finist'mer 3.5 h trip (Balade d'Iroise I think it is called) and it was absolutely great. Right at the entrance to the harbor we saw dolphins. There were seals and the nature in this marine park is breathtaking. The boat was a well-motorized zodiac, we were very close to the animals around and to the sea. 60€/person (we reserved online, the boat was fully booked that day), but worth every cent.

This is a great trip and I would recommend this all. Great boat ride out and back plenty of time on the island. The only reason I am giving to 4 stars is that there was no English information. It would have been lovely to find out more about the island especially on the bus tour which we paid extra for. But is was a bit isolating when the french people on the tour were laughing at the information from the driver but anyone who did not speak French did not know what was being said. Even if we could read about the bus tour while on it would be good and given this is a tourist attractions I would have thought it would be in other languages. But a great trip that could be easily made excellent.
