We peeled off the A1 to have some lunch in the village pub and could not help but notice how pretty this little village was.Situated near to the beautiful Rutland Water,this village with its beautiful church and old stone buildings stands out....The Wheatsheaf Inn is a must for lunch.visited 14th April 2017

Met friends here again today.Although busy with Christmas bookings,the staff were 'unruffled'and very efficient.We greeted well and again felt welcome. I say it gets better but how can one improve on such a lovely environment. A repeat visit is on the cards

Pretty little village with lovely extinct stone cottages, lovely pretty little church , a stain glass window inside as a memorial to the raft if the Second World War as luffenham was an air station there
