    Wonderful Evening Out!!
If you have a chance, we would highly recommend going to Rosebud Theatre. We attended the evening play "All is Calm" which included a wonderful buffet supper. Food was great, service wonderful, play well done. The total package and a must see.

    11/10 Experience . Rosebud is a Gem !!
This is a small town doing extraordinary things !!!!! An 11/10 experience . It is not often anymore that you see people pouring themselves into something they love and working so hard to do it. Yet this whole town and everyone in it is doing just that . I’m ashamed to say this was our first time visiting but it certainly won’t be our last . We attended the Little Women play. The lunch before was delicious and beyond expectation . The care to every little detail and each and every staff member making you feel welcome was beyond . They are extremely efficient in caring for the crowds that descend their town each day . They have thought of every detail including ice cream after the play . We did the little walking tour before our lunch to learn more about the town . The museum and gallery’s and little shops are beautiful. Well done Rosebud !! You are certainly a gem that we should be proud to have in our province . It was more than worth the 2.5 hour drive for us . I encourage everyone to go !!

    A Fantastic Day
We had never been to Rosebud, so when I saw the TV ads for the play "Little Women" we invited some friends to go out to have lunch and see the matinee performance. The lunch buffet was definitely of high quality, with great service. The play was extremely enjoyable. It is hard to believe that such talented people are here performing in this quaint little town. We all had a great day.

    Anniversary fun
The experience was perfect from beginning to end. Weather perfect and the drive down highway 21 perfect. Driving into the small town of Rosebud you are immediately struck with the quaint beauty of small town Alberta. Instructions provided after purchase of tickets don't prepare you for the easy small town provision of enjoying a hassle, traffic free downtown. Walking into the Mecantile Restaurant you are struck by how a clean a obviously aged facility has been wonderfully maintained. Seated into one of I believe four or five seating areas my wife and I enjoyed the seat by the window. The buffet was fabulous with an abundance of salads, and main courses available including chicken, salmon, and of course their prized roast beef among other offerings. After the meal we had a "long" lol walk across the street to a comfortable theatre type seating that held around 350 persons. Our treat was Little Women which was one of my wive's favorite books. The adaption is a Broadway show and the troup from Rosebud did a wonderful job with the play and musical numbers. It was thourghly enjoyable from beginning to end and both my wife and I loved the experience.

    Another lovely visit to Rosebud.
Rosebud is such a lovely little village. We have been quite a number of times and always had such a good time. The plays are always first class and we enjoyed our meals at the dinner theatre also. Very good service from the students and actors. We will be back.

Buffet at 11:00am on Saturday and production at 1:30pm. $63.00 for 4 to 20 years of age, adults $85.00. The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is a fabulous adaptation of C.S.Lewis novel. World class talent and a delicious meal. Rosebud town has storybook quality. This is the place to be this Christmas. Don’t forget the gift shop!
Making memories!

The play was excellent and I wish I could say the same about the buffet food but unfortunately I can’t. The food selection was good but all of the dishes were average at best. Most restaurant buffets feature a large beef or prime rib roast cooked to medium rare so patrons can choose between a well done or medium rare cut but the entire roast at the buffet was well done, and it wasn’t very tender. I went back for seconds only because I was still hungry, the two other members at my table never went back for more.
There was a modest selection of standard desserts, which included pies, one type of square, croissants, and peach crisp. I had the very bland peach crisp which was tasted like a package of Quakers instant cinnamon peach oatmeal.

Went there with another couple who gave us the tickets as a birthday present. Never went there before so it was an adventure for us. Loved the whole experience. Buffet lunch was included and it was very good. Went to see the play " The Christmas Story". It was very well done and had everyone entertained.

This dinner theatre combines first class acting, is heart-warming with lots of laughs, even a few sad moments, and an excellent buffet. Great job!
We went to the Wednesday Matinee which was a full house with 200 guests. Make sure to get there early as it is first come first seated. The buffet was delicious, plentiful and had alot of variety to choose from. After we ate we walked across the street and did a guick tour thru the museum. The people in the hamlet of Rosebud are very friendly.
