It’s always fun to see the penguins waddling around and nesting and swimming and feeding. Kids love them and keep a look out for the Dassies on the old concrete wall. There is also a coffee shop.

Such an awesome place watching those little penguins, wether they’re lying in the sun, playing or swimming. They are very cute. It’s a very successful and one of the largest breeding colonies in the world and definitely a must see

Beautiful colony, but great to see nonetheless. We had some fishermen come really close to them and then almost chased the penguins away, but seems like the penguins are almost used to it.

Really a must see. The penguins are beautiful, the place well organised and a nice way to spend a morning. Well stocked shop with cute gifts of good quality. If you have wild card from SanParks, entrance is free.

Having spent a fortune at the penguin colony near Simons' Town, we came across this one. It is just as good. There are just as many penguins and it is considerably cheaper. If you are doing the Garden Route, then see the penguins here. They are really cute and very used to people.…
