I visited the reserve in August and enjoyed a leisurely walk. Even though the weather was ok it was still a bit bleak up on the banks, but worth it for the sighting of 2 bitterns. We also watched kingfishers fishing which was amazing.More

Food is very basic , coffee and a slice of cake . Nice walks tho and you can borrow binoculars to view the birds from the comfort of your table :)More

This RSPB reserve is on the Suffolk/Norfolk border. The helpful staff explained all about the reserve and what had been seen. Had some good views of birds and a stoat. Only negative were the biting insects, because of the hot weather and the water.More
