We have visited many art museums around the world, but have never seen anything like Inhotim. Numerous buildings featuring different contemporary artists dot the grounds, amid a luxuriant landscape. It’s hard to decide what we liked better, the gardens or the galleries and exhibits. This was our second two-day visit, since our prior visit had simply not been enough to... More

We were amazed by the green areas and all the exposition. Some art will impress you more or less but getting around the place is already an enjoyment. You need at least a full day to get around the whole park. I would highly recommend the golf carts rides if you've only got a day there otherwise, get your athletic... More

Inhotim is unique since it combines a botanical garden with a modern art museum. We visited it in a whole day (arriving at opening to avoid lines) and leaving almost at close time. We had lunch at Oiticica restaurante, but you can also bring your own food. They have water fountains over the area, which is quite handful (you don't... More

this is a unique park combining art galeries in a tropical park. most of the times the nature is art itself. If you are in belo Horizonte, take a day and visit Inhotim. It worth to pay a bit extra and be able to use the automotive transfer, than walk if you have only one day. Do go early in... More

undoubtedly one of the greatest museums in the whole world. Not far from Belo Horizonte - a 2 hours drive - we can experience contemporary art in perfect harmony with nature. There is a suttle bus (Saritur, it's possible to buy the tickets online) that departures everyday from the Belo Horizonte main bus station to Inhotim's parking lot. Round trip... More

At entrance, don´t forget the pass to use the electric carts, despite of walking tour be the best way, the area is huge. Some sculptures are quite far from the others, so, you need to use the carts. It´s needed more than one day if you plan to know all the park and galleries. Appreciate the wonderful gardens, artworks, or... More

Inhotim has great gardens and contemporary art. You do not need to be an art expert to enjoy it all!! Plan more than one day of visit to fully enjoy the Inhotim experience.
