Quiet little retreat. We stayed in a weekend rental for three nights. The beaches are clean, family friendly and the public washroom/change rooms are maintained regularly. During the summer there is a free concert on the beach on Thursday evenings. Fun for everyone.
The poutine from the arcade restaurant is seriously pretty good. Souvenirs are kinda pricey. Bring water shoes if you plan to wade or swim. Good times, good memories. Hope to go again when I visit Ontario again.

Had a lovely day with a boyfriend. Remember this spot from my childhood...hasn't changed much except the cottages got bigger! Lovely little beach on the main drag....a bit rocky to get into, but great for swimming once you get past the first set of pebbles. Was there on a Thursday and stayed to listen to the live band playing on the beach.

Awesome beach! Gets busy in July And August and parking fills up fast! Lovely small beach with good swimming once you get past the little pebbles. Has 2 sit down restaurants plus a variety store that serves yummy ice cream and a place called Georgian Grill that serves poutine, hamburgers, hotdogs sandwiches fries, ice cream slushies and milkshakes. It has an arcade attached to it with some pinball and older games plus new games and picnic tables out front to sit on. Very beautiful beach with lovely sunsets!

Not the best beach I’ve been to but I used to live in Midland which is the next town over, so I would come here sometimes during the summer to walk around and enjoy the vibes, the food. The bar and smokehouse is really good! Fun people in there.

I might be biased because I’ve been going my whole life, but balm beach is so nostalgic and special with the old school arcade on the little strip there. if you walk along the beach, away from the main strip, the water gets less rocky.

This is not the greatest beach to go to up in Tiny. My family stayed just north of Penetanguishene in a rental cottage and the owner had a parking permit to use for Balm Beach; it was further away and not worth the drive. Penetanguishene Beach is much nicer; it's called Penetanguishene Rotary Champlain Wendat Park and they have 90 acres located along the waterfront of Penetang Harbour. The park offers a covered pavilion, accessible playground, swings, basketball court, skateboard park, beach volleyball, swimming, washrooms, amphitheatre, dog park, picnic tables, ample parking and a Splash Pad. I would rather go there again and not miss another trip to Balm Beach

Very LIMITED parking. Arrive early or no parking at all. Even on the streets not permitted or very limited. I believe if you arrive 8am you can find parking
