We visited in February so not the busiest time of year, but this huge beach has more than enough space for everyone even at high tide. Dog friendly but beware between May and September they are only allowed on certain stretches of beach.

Even though it was quite cold and windy, we enjoyed a nice walk along the seafront, watching the Kite Surfers bobbing over the waves.

I’ve given this 5 stars purely for the beach and the sand dunes. Well worth a visit on a nice day, two of which we had. However once you’ve seen these head away from Camber ( the town). It’s dire. And with the atrocious Pontins...More

One of the best sandy beaches in the UK. Wide open spaces, two cafes, big sand dunes, new coast guards, dogs allowed on beaches (check on times), free parking on road and pad carparks. Epic.

We love camber sands beach, been coming here since I was a child. Miles & miles of sandy beach with just a couple of cafes, a toilet block and a couple of pubs close by. I like that there are no streets lined with arcades...More

Nice beach, golden sand but even in winter time it is quite busy. If you walk away from the parking lot long enough it gets better. I heard the beach is packed with people during summer.

Fantastic sandy beach with amazing views and attractions near by. Great for dog walks, or even just a stroll with the family. Extremely clean and well maintained beach we'd definitely visit again!

Lovely walk along the sand, dunes and waters edge. All very unspoilt and natural, lovely to watch the dogs playing. Car park was only £1 for an hour, nice clean loos and somewhere to get a coffee.

Camber sands is beautiful. The beach has been cared for and always looks perfect. Plenty of space on the sands but be careful of the tides as this can change quickly.

Definitely Camber Sands Holiday Park as Rye Harbour is to the west of Rye, although not more than approx 3-4 miles from Camber beach. Rye Harbour is also well worth visiting for photography. It has a strange rather bleak... More

Get there early on sunny days as it gets very busy. That way you will avoid traffic and get a good spot.
