this beautiful Archeology park has gems of art and history, witnessing the cultural and economical prosperity of this place. Park is excellently maintained, and guided tours are recommended.

Whatever they say about Zippori cannot do justice to the site. The Israel Parks Authority have spent well, as the site is wheelchair and buggy / stroller friendly, with lots of shade, seats and picnic sites. The sheer quality of the 2000 year old mosaics...More

A trip though history from the Greek and Roman times, Sanhedrin period and the Islamic and Cruasder periods. The mosaics are outstanding, especially the synagogue floor. Do not miss the walk though the underground water system.

Certainly it's possible a day trip from Jerusalem to Zippori and back. You might ask for the specific transportation, but no doubt it's OK for one day.
