Mountain Lakes and Waterfalls Day Trip from Banff

256 reviews
Banff National Park has amazing lakes, waterfalls, and glaciers, but nearly-endless options mean it’s hard to know where to start. Visit some of Banff’s most beautiful places on a full-day tour that includes Takakkaw Falls, Victoria Glacier, and Moraine Lake—it’s a dramatic route designed for natural beauty and wildlife-watching opportunities.

This stop is on the way to Emerald Lake. While worth to stop and get a view of the beautiful river and surrendering. Get pit stop, clean bathrooms and you don't have to walk far to get an amazing view. You can get so close to the river and a natural bridge. Get place to take some amazing vacation pictures.

We visited at around 8am mid-September and found the place pretty much to ourselves for about an hour. It was beautiful to see the sunrise over the rocks and the water. It was mesmerizing to watch the water flow over the rocks and the fact that you can pretty much stand next to it was amazing. I really loved this place.

Such a wonder, nature to form the Natural Bridge. This is the perfect place to take beautiful pictures. No need to hike, just park your vehicle at the parking lot and walk there. Right next to this place is the Kicking Horse River with awesome views as well.

Enroute to a beautiful Emerald Lake, the water feature is incredible. You can get so close to the water falls and natural bridge. Powerful cold waters rushing and cascading under the bridge.

A stop over to view and take some photos of the rushing river water on the natural stone formation 'bridge'.
