Full-Day Highlights of Prince Edward County Private Tour

In 2014, Macleans magazine named the county among the Ten Places You Must See. The county became the only tourist destination in Canada, which was included in the list of Best Places to Travel in 2015 by Travel and Leisure Magazine.

In Prince Edward county, festivals are held year-round. This year, the famous Lavender Festival is cancelled, but we will visit magnificent lavender fields and you will marvel at many cultivars of lavender with a miriad of colours, scents and tastes.

During our one-day trip, we will taste wine at local wineries and try different varieties of cheese produced here. We will visit several art galleries and a sculpture garden. We will see the famous Lake on the Mountain (the Mohawk people call it Onokenoga, or Lake of the Gods) and the equally famous dunes, drive along the historic loyalist road and visit the picturesque towns of Bloomfield, Wellington and Picton.

Visiting PEC for the weekend and wanted to do some cycling (including some wine/brewery visits). Rented our bikes from Cassandra at Closson Rd. Cycles. A group of us got a taxi out from Picton - $25. Cassandra had our bikes ready and made sure that we were happy with them before we left on our merry way. She gave very good advice re. wineries and breweries to visit and collected the bikes when we finished at Wellington (no need to go back to base). A great day out and Cassandra set that up perfectly - thank you.

My girlfriends and I went to PEC for a birthday celebration and included a bike/wine tour in the visit ... what a great way to spend a day. Keith took us around to several wineries, spoke about the area, shared places to eat and things to see. Overall an amazing day. Keep up the good work!!!!

Very nice people own and manage this bike rental place on Closson Road. Closson has lots of differents places to drop in to see including wineries, The Shed, etc so its a good place to ride a bike. rural Roads through open fields. Generally the roads are not too rough and there is very little traffic. Prices are reasonable and a good selection of comfortable bikes.

Cassandra was SUCH a help over the phone when I called to reserve my bike and when I went to pick it up. She took the time to talk through my route and plans for the day. I was going on a solo bike ride and they made me feel really comfortable and excited. We sat down at a picnic table to go over a map and suggestions for stops along the way and nothing felt rushed at all. Paying was easy--by cash or credit card (with emailed receipt). Helmet & lock provided and different kinds of bikes to choose from. The whole thing felt very homey and friendly--I'm not used to people this nice haha!! She offered to pick up the bike at my Airbnb at the end of the day, which was really helpful, and was available by text when I needed more time before having it picked up. Would definitely recommend. Also, from meeting them and the sounds of other reviews, I think Keith would give a really good bike/wine tour!

A great way to enjoy the County whether you're on the millenium trail or the wine route. For added comfort & convenience, the bikes come with a rack or basket.
