We visited here in September of 2016, on a cool, sunny day, and the business is a Bed and Breakfast/Farm. Obviously the lavender harvest was over, but the heavenly lavender scent filled store (which also provides online shopping) was open, and the vast array of lavender based locally made products was impressive. The store is bright and welcoming, and there... More

This is the second time that I have visited PEC Lavender. We were there in late August/early September, well after the harvest. I would still recommend that you visit the shop even in the off season. I am a lavender fan, familiar with many different products from other sites, but PEC's are tops (Big fan of shopping from an Ontario... More

Hello, Thank you for your great review. It is always appreciated to read reviews that understand the reality of a farm. As you stated, the lavender has been harvested but you focused your review on the products made from the harvest and not on the fact that the lavender was not there at the time of the year that you... Lovely place to visit before the wineries open. The store is full of nice things to buy however the lavender as it was cut wasn't that interesting. Staff were lovely and helpful. Still a good visit.

Hello there, Thank you for your great review on our store and staff. It is unfortunate that you came at that time of the year to see the lavender because the only time to see the fields in bloom is from late June to mid-July. Hope to see you in at that time next year. More

We had planned to be here in early July but had to change to August. Read later that the final harvest for this year was mid-July. They have saved a few plants to show the varieties but everything else is just rows of bushes. We could see the potential and will return here anytime we are in the area before... More

I decided to take a drive to Prince Edward County. Came across it's Lavender Farm. It was very quaint. I almost felt like I was in Provence, France. Their gift shop is a tiny room, with a cute, B & B beside it, with fields of Lavender, and so many different kinds, "who knew??"... their was so much variety...??? The... More

I came a couple of weeks after the big lavender festival and I think the place was sparser than it normally is as a result. And sadly quite muddy to walk through after a recent (though much needed) rain. However, it was worth the trip just to be surrounded by the scent of lavender. Took many deep breaths. It's a... More

I really liked my visit at this place. The lavender field is lovely and I had the opportunity to learn a lot about the process of extracting the essence from the plant. Also, I bought nice items at the gift shop!

I read somewhere that you pay $2 to get in, but was shocked to find out that they want $5 per head now. Between me and my wife, we paid $10 to see a lavender field about the size of half a football field. If you're expecting to see "a sea of wavy purple" - you definitely won't get the... More
