Very rude staff. The place was dead yet “open for tastings” the staff don’t greet you, when asked they seemed uninterested in serving you and two employees working neither seemed to want to assist or sell any of their wines.

I'm really glad we stopped in here! They have a beautiful outdoor garden area set up with tables and chairs, and they bring your tasting flights/glasses to you, table service. I liked that! The young woman who served us was good at explaining the different types of wine so I was able to choose the ones I'd prefer for my flight. The garden was manicured, and the tables/chairs were spaced out nicely. I hope they continue to offer this next season when (hopefully) covid is a thing of the past. I wasn't able to try the rosé on my flight that I had hoped to, as it was sold out, but I did quite enjoy the others I selected. I'll come back again as it was quite an enjoyable visit.…

This was our first stop and we loved every minute of it. Washrooms are clean and wheelchair accessible. Staff were all is masks and this was the only place where you sat and the staff brought you the tastings. Very classy. The others (except for Rosehall) you stand at the bar behind plexiglass with others waiting behind you as well... so it’s a bit of a rushed experience. Not here, you sit in nice chairs in their garden and they bring you the wines you’ve selected. Lovely place and classy. …

I visited Closson Chase on a whim and I am SO GLAD I did because it was the cutest vineyard I have ever seen. From the gorgeous purple barn that has been expertly restored to the gorgeous stained glass motif and garden patio set up, it was such a pretty little place. I did a wine flight tasting, sampling a white and 2 reds. The service was great - they gave us different glasses for each wine (I know this is standard practice but a few other vineyards I visited used the same glass for each different tasting), the staff were knowledgeable and very friendly. I loved the wines I sampled (1 white and 2 reds) and picked up a few bottles. They do not serve food, so to go at 2 or 3pm for just a wine tasting was excellent! I wouldn't hesitate to tell everyone to add Closson Chase to their County visit!…

Wines were decent. Food was reasonable. Fine atmosphere, albeit a bit on the corporate side. It would have been a good visit if it weren't for the insufferable server. He kept on saying "guys" and spoke so loudly at all times, even in close proximity -- sometimes taking his mask off as well. I'm sure some of the older visitors were charmed, but we found him grating and it spoiled the experience.…
