Having done a wine tasting tour in France two years ago which was only okay I was not that keen to go on a wine tour.
So glad our first stop was at Sugarbush Vineyards. Robert Peck, the co-owner, was a wealth of information not only about the history of wine making not only in Prince Edward County, but also his winery. Obviously , a lot of pride in what he and his wife have achieved since 2003 — excellent wines. A perfect start to our private tour with Wolf ,our guide, with Sandbank Winery Tours.

This is my new favourite winery. I loved pretty much every wine I tried here, both the reds and the whites. We were lucky enough to arrive shortly after the crowd. We were warmly greeted by Robert and Sally the owners. Robert took his time talking with us and tell us all about the different wines. He was very knowledgeable and very friendly. We really enjoyed talking with him. He told us about the history of his business and how he got into the wine making business. This was the best winery of our trip. I highly recommended stopping here.

Came as part of a small wine tasting tour. The young woman facilitating the tasting was friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the red wine with maple syrup.

We recently stopped at Sugarbush Vineyards during our recent vacation for some great wine tasting. Sugarbush is a small family run winery with some unique wines. One of our favourites was the maple red wine which is a cabernet franc infused with a touch of maple syrup. It was very good and we bought a bottle. Great little winery with friendly staff.

Sugarbush Vineyards is a small family run vineyard. They produce white, red, rose and one maple red wine. Do not hesitate to stop by and sample. You will not be disappointed as their offerings are quite approachable and offer great bang for the buck. All wines sampled were delicious, particularly the un-oaked Chardonnay and the Rose. The wine tasting fee is nominal and the staff very hospitable.

While in PEC, my sister specifically wanted to go to this winery because she’d been there before on a wine tour. I can see why. A delightful little winery that makes delicious wines in small batches. I loved the Gamay and Rosé. “Not Red” is now one of my favourite white wines. Must go back.

I had a wonderful experience at the Sugarbush Vineyard. Sally Peck (the owner) was friendly, down to earth and VERY knowledgeable. A breath of fresh air in Prince Edward County. The Riesling and Rose were amazing. Loved all the un-oaked wine options! The limestone walkway really added a special touch. Would absolutely recommend to anyone. Can't wait to visit again and stock up on more delicious wines!

Great wines and knowledgeable staff in a professonal yet unpretentious setting. Beautiful property as well! We had a great visit and chat with the owner who was gracious and seemed happy to spend some time chatting about her wines, property, etc.

This was my second visit to this winery. We were out winery hopping with friends from the US and I knew we had to stop! Very friendly staff and just really great wine. It was one of the few places where we actually purchased some bottles. We tasted the Rosé, Gewürztraminer & Riesling!
