About
We are a small family-run vineyard dedicated to making great wines in the idyllic setting of Hillier, in Prince Edward County. Our winemaker, Colin Stanners, is producing polished, complex, award winning wines, allowing the vintage and terroir to speak clearly and with purity. Our vineyard is managed using sustainable farming practices and our wine is produced in an energy efficient straw bale building. We lovingly produce around 2000 cases per year so you will find our wine distributed in a few select LCBO locations. Check for us at your favourite restaurants and farmer's markets or come and visit us at our straw-bale winery and share in our enjoyment of wine!

Terry made our tasting absolutely incredible. He was so knowledgeable and great to chat with. We learned so much on our tasting tour.
Tried 5 wines....all were good. We purchased two different kinds.

Tasting outside here due to COVID, She directed us to the patio which i couldn't see because the property is so over grown. As per their web site they keep it that way (We keep the land around our vineyard as natural as possible to help maintain and encourage biodiversity and we have a beautiful native wildflower garden surrounding our patio.) I felt uncomfortable on the patio with everything so over grown it was a mess. The wine's were good and I am glad we stopped in but because of it looking the way it was, i just wanted to leave quick. The tasting is reasonable priced.

Love their Pinot Noirs and Pinot gris. Called them mid afternoon and they met us there, even though they were not actually open. Friendly and very informative

This is a small winery that has some really good wines. We got a bottle of Pinot Noir 2017 and a Riesling. The service was very friendly and the women that served us was very knowledgeable.

Our first visit to this winery in PEC. A small almond artisan Fanny winery. Was warmly meet by Mary who did our tastings and provided us with some great information and some of there story, which is always so good. The tasting was in a nice barn like setting that was well laid out. The Pinot’s were great worth the visit. Will be returning

My cuz Charlie came up from US for first time in the county. Bought a wine that he and wife shared a Christmas. He claimed it was the best he ever tasted
He will be back for more.

We went on a tour of 9 wineries one Saturday. I’m sorry to say this ranked in our bottom 2. The staff was very friendly and helpful, but the wines weren’t to our taste. A few of the reds were out of stock. We bought 1 bottle of white to avoid the tasting fee.

We stumbled upon Stanners Vineyard and are so happy we did! The only negative is that they were sold out of their reds (oh no, we need to make another visit!), but there were 4 whites that we were able to sample. Our host was very welcoming and even showed us the grapes that were fermenting! We will be back!

This was our first stop of the day and it was my personal favourite. Definitely a smaller operation than some of the other vineyards in the area but that means it still has the ‘family owned’ feel. When we walked in we were greeted by Colin who was very friendly and answered all of our (many) questions. We tasted the Pinot Gris and Chardonnay and ended up purchasing a bottle of the former - it was delicious and had a dry, unique taste.
Definitely recommend stopping in if you are going to wineries in the area!

Found this winery by chance but we are very happy we did. You drive through the vineyards on your way to the tasting room which is quite nice. It is small scale and family owned and they produce some quality wines! Would recommend to all.
