We dropped in at Trail estates - which is right next to the awesome Millenium Trail cycle path - much in need of a sampling of wine. We were not disappointed. Both the reds and whites we sampled were excellent - as was the service. Can’t wait to come back and try more from their amazing cellar selections.

A stone's throw from the Millenium trail, this winery was a great stop on our biking tour of PEC. There were two gentlemen at the tasting bar who took the time to explain how each wine had been crafted. It was like taking a crash course on how wine is made! This winery was our favorite of the day. I highly recommend if you want to try something original and delicious. Thanks Trail Estate for a lovely tasting experience!!!

Stopped here as the last stop of the day - even though it was right before closing, service was friendly and very knowledgeable. Flights were ripe with choices - tons of variety and vintages, all of which I tried were delicious.

This place needs a bit more profile, because it is worth knowing about!

Disappointed with this stop. Although their sign out front said tasting bar open, we were told that they don't do tastings on Friday. The only option was to buy an expensive glass of wine. We sat outside for a while with our dog and not one of the staff from the winery even came out to ask how we were enjoying the wine. Lack of customer service and misleading signage.

Super quiet and small place but very nice. This is a young winery, about 4 years. This place offers four tastings for 7$. It was the only place that we visited that offered that. Also, they offered some crackers which was fantastic. It is a nice touch. I purchased the 2013 Cabernet2 Reserve. It was the best wine I tasted all day.

Trail Estate was the last winery my friends and I visited on a Saturday afternoon wine tour, and it was the absolute best way to end our day. The staff, the wine, the views - phenomenal. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience, as well as every wine we had the pleasure of tasting.

Upon arriving at Trail Estate we were greeted by the charming proprietor, Anton Sproll. He couldn't have been more inviting, and we thoroughly enjoyed our 20 minutes in his company. This is an ambitious little winery and we couldn't get enough of their creations during our tasting! Two standouts were their "Cabernet2" blend of Cab Franc and Cab Sauv, and the "Baco Noir Reserve". We bought a few bottles of each. We will definitely return to Trail Estates on future visits to PEC!

Beside its excellent wines, Trail Estate has a fantastic little winery which is well worth a visit. The building is modern with a sober and clean interior. A large glass wall to access the well thought through outdoor space which reminds of a Japanese garden. Plenty of nice greens and a large sail creating shade and an attractive environment to just take a break or to taste the great wine. Generous seating lounges are located outdoors with a nice view of the winery and the vineyards.

This is a super place to ride you bike to or just come by to pick-up a few bottles.

Thank you!
