Called here on the way to Whitby to wander through the woods and see the snowdrops. I have never seen so many in one place. Called in at the cafe for lunch - soup and french stick, followed by chocolate brownie. The food was very good, staff friendly and service when finally served quite quick, but the management could do... More

We visited when the snowdrops were at their peak, really lovely. Thoroughly enjoyed our walk in the gardens. We then decided to have lunch in the café. It was very crowded, the queue was out of the door. This was the only door, and not a large doorway, so we had to keep standing aside for people going out and... More

Although a cloudy day, we decided to visit Agnes Burton to see the snowdrops. They were well worth the visit - a pleasant woodland walk covered with snowdrops everywhere and the sun even appeared for a short time. Afterwards we wandered around the walled garden (a bit empty at the moment but sure it will be beautiful once spring arrives)... More

The snowdrops are at their peak and we were blessed with sunny spells. A lovely coffee and cake in the cafe rounded off an enjoyable visit. Note that the house is closed at this time of year.

Went here having read about the snowdrop walk. Despite being early February it was quite busy with a quite full car park, very full cafe and a queue to get into the gardens. Having previously visited the gardens which during the summer were lovely we hoped the snowdrop walk would be as good. The snowdrop walk is entranced through the... More

Lovely walk on a cold day to see the snowdrops and woodland plants in winter. The walks are on even paths and where they are not then there is disabled access. Pity the walk is not circular but nevertheless there are things to spot along the way to keep the children entertained. Well kept walled garden and excellent cafe serving... More

Despite the high price of seven pounds per adult the walking trail is well worth the money. The walk takes around one and a half hours. Plenty of sculptures pepper the walk and add to the interest. Great cafe at the end of the walk.

Nice small walk through some woodland looking at the snowdrops. Not badly priced at £7. Takes around 45 minutes at a leisurely pace. The house was closed, but looks fantastic.

After a lovely drive up to Burton Agnes Hall, we arrived in time for coffee and a naughty at the lovely cafe and as the sun was giving us an early spring warming, we sat out in the courtyard to enjoy it. The gardens have all been cleared and plant labels interred ready for the spring plantings. The joy of... More

We had a great time viewing the vintage cars and also had an enjoyable tour of the hall itself, followed by a superb lunch. A very pleasant day out.
