Well worth the small park usage fees. The trails are conspicuously marked making it impossible to miss a turn. All intersections are clearly identified with your options. Creeks and streams have logs or log bridges built so they can be crossed easily. Lots of little animals and a few deer were seen on our hike! Enjoy a short or long... More

If you love the outdoors or just wish to experience mother nature for a few hours; Frontenac Park has it all. Check there website for hours and contact the wonderful people that can explain day trips, courses, hikes, canoeing etc etc. Well maintained and very conscious about the environment, just like it should be.

I've done a lot of hiking here throughout my life and I must say it never really gets boring. Many, many trails, some back country camping sites, great visitor's centre. The best part about Frontenac is that it's not too far out of the way. If you live in Kingston or the surrounding area, this is one of the better... More

Much to see, the landscape is unspectacular but appealing in its variety of flora.

We always enjoy going there for a walk in the woods around the beautiful lakes. Fabulous to take pictures as the seasons change.

Nicely sized park with lots of trails and not a lot of hikers, so can enjoy the peace and quiet.

...and into the forests and rocks and lakes of this park nestled in the south-eastern part of Lake Ontario region - directly north of Kingston. Hiking, paddling, interior camping, swimming - all the outdoors activities we need now and then - all available at this park. Trails range from short (1 km) boardwalk-lined trails to multi-day hiking excursions. The park... More

Great place for a day hike or paddle. I've also canoe camped here, which was good, although it is a small park so there aren't too many multi-day routes if you want to be challenged.
