13 year old and mom enjoyed this ride ALOT! If you don’t like to ride (I don’t) there is not much to do at the corral, so consider leaving and coming back while the family rides.

My 13 year old daughter and I took an extended ride ( less than 2 hours). Making reservations was easy. Check in easy. This is the most pricey horse riding place in the Lake Tahoe area. Helmets are not required ( even for my daughter)....More

Not your typical 'head for the barn' line walking horses who are oblivious to the rider on their back's instruction. Wife and daughter had a nice ride in a group of only 6. Reservations needed. Friendly and well staffed. Riders must be over 6 years...More

Great ride with our four children through the Tahoe hills. Our guide, CJ was very friendly and made it an interesting ride. Only comments were the price was not great at USD 300 for a 50 minute ride with no family or children discounts.

My wife and kids told me that everyone enjoyed themselves, the guide was delightful, the horses were healthy and well-tempered, and it was a great way to spend an hour or two. NOTE: I am a tall and concurrently heavy man. The weight limit is...More

We booked a 2h horsehide to fallen leaf lake and had a great experience. Upon arrival it immediately shows the owners really take care of their horses. The horses are relaxed & approachable and we noticed that they change horses between tours to protect them....More

I think that children have to be 6 years and older to go on the treks but they do run short pony rides for the under 5's. They also run hay rides which are perfect for families with young children. There were 8 people in our... More
