Had a great time and for price (For sculptures and park entry $15 / $12 kids and seniors) really worth it.
Saw a lot of reviews prior to going criticising the maintenance of the park. I thought it was fine given the price. It is a small business they do the best they can. Also read about service being rude but the person i dealt with both in front and at the ride was really nice - she even gave my son a free carousel ride.
Sand sculptures was nice and not crowded as it used to be at Frankston beach. My son is in prep and the alphabets theme was very fitting. We also tried the AR app on each.
A lot of board games to entertain the kids and the mazes were a lot of fun.
Not too crowded and busy and a lot of free space for social distancing which was a big plus during the current covid times.
My son kept the map and already wants to go again. We will be back. Thank you!

I took my 3 children to the Park for mini-golf during the School holidays. The mini-golf course is a simple lay-out and is very basic. It was reasonably well maintained and we enjoyed it.

We then went to get some lunch from the cafe. It felt dirty. The tables were sticky. We ordered toasties and milk shakes. After waiting for about 30 mins we asked how far away our order was. The girl who took our order had no memory of it, despite the fact that we were the only ones in the cafe. We then had to place the order again. Even then it took another 20 mins to get the food. When it arrived the food was burnt and the milk shakes (that cost $7 each) were room temperature. There was no apology. Apart from the lady at the entrance (Jane) the customer service was appalling.

Spend your money somewhere else.

No, no, no.... Don't do it. People travelling down from the city, tourist coming from overseas and locals should stay right away till some money is spent on the "i don't know what". Work over and the ACCC will be notified. Unmaintained equipment {if you have access to them} and lack of supervision by staff whom I wonder what training they have. Child stuck on climbing wall for 20 minutes. Child sprayed in eye with aerosol paint whilst spray painting, no safety equipment
provided.

Visited the park Wednesday Jan 11th 2023. We paid for the lot. Sand sculptures, park and mini gulf. How disappointing. Three adults one child was over $150. The sand sculptures were not worth paying for. There were only a few, they lacked detail and looked shabby. The attendant said kids had climbed on them, doubt it not very well done. We felt they should have not been extra given what they were. The rest of the park is ordinary, lots of overgrown wetlands.Carousel tiny, train miniature both suitable for kids up to 3 or 4. Mini gulf no shade, not really worth $10 per person per game. Doubt this park will survive going forward. Hardly anyone there. The staff however were very pleasant. Hopefully it's a work in progress.

We made a mistake by taking full park entrance for ourselves and 2 grandchildren aged 6 and 4. The children were only interested in the dinosaurs and related activity which occupied them for 90 minutes. The train ride was very short. The gardens were OK and the mini golf was not suitable for young kids. The cafe was alright but the gifts were very expensive. So $150 for 90 minutes was pretty poor value. Should have/could have paid less than half that for just the dinosaurs. Moral of this tale...do better research!!

Wetlands more like swamp lands. As for the sandcastles these sad excuses are older than the pyramids and in no way a draw card. The place does not warrant an entry price and is in need of repair. Don’t waste your time visiting this sad excuse of a discovery park. The only thing your going to discover is that you have been ripped off. The website needs to be updated to reflect its current state. Everything is overgrown and equipment is in need of repair or replacement.

Run down, maze and gardens in need of attention. I believe it is up for sale so I am guessing there may be contributing factors.

Save your time and money and head to the Arthurs Seat maze instead.

Very overpriced. Staff at reception looked bored and uninterested. Water slides were not operating, a 'luxury' boat that was advertised in the brochure was covered and clearly not operating, the carousal ride was unmanned when we went past, the bird haven smelt disgusting and had a large array of paint tins in the corner (please look out for little ones who might come across this unexpected hazard), the pile of power cords laying in the area where the 'bee hive' sign is were also unexpected/unsightly, the 'maze' was not a maze and the bushes made it 'see through' and it was unclear if there was an entry and exit point, the swamp stunk, the paddle boat seat was broken making it difficult to have any leverage to paddle (we saw another poor family have their paddle boat fill with water and start to sink, we thanked our lucky stars our children did not have that boat), the staff at the rock climbing/paddle boats/bungy tramps were friendly however they were juggling far too many tasks and leaving children unattended on the tramps and rock climbing whilst they minded young children/attended to the sinking boat/attended to people trapped in the sludge in the swamp and so on. One is left wondering about safety overall here. We couldn't easily find our way around, the only sign we saw was to the bird haven and from there the map was not that clear and no mention on the map of where and how to get to the paddle boats. The whole place has a run down feeling. The mini golf was ok and a boy leaving as we arrived summed it up 'the only good thing at this place was the mini golf'....and for over $100 it's not somewhere you leave feeling like you got good value and had a fabulous time. Would not recommend sorry and it's a shame the new ownership that is talked about on the website have not been able to wow customers.

Dear Brenda G, Thank you for your valuable feedback. We've taken some time to consider all the issues raised in your review. As a result, we've provided additional staff training to our customer service team and we've audited all the pedal boats and made repairs. I need to clarify the issue of the luxury punts (boats) - these are available everyday and provide a great wetlands touring experience. They require pre-booking at scheduled times as we need to allocate a staff member for the 20 minute tour of the wetlands. On the day you visited, you saw the covered punts that were moored at the pontoon between bookings. With regard to the water slides these are not available during extreme weather. This condition is stated on the website and they are only closed for the safety of patrons. The beautiful 1864 vintage carousel is a feature of the park offering and is manned by a staff member from 10am-5pm daily and at night as part of our Lantasia light sculpture event. I was very surprised to read you found carousel unmanned. The only time our staff leave the carousel is to briefly tidy up the other giant puzzle games in the area. With regard to the bird-hide and the paint tins, this was left out by our resident artist who is in the process of creating a new 5m x 3m nature mural on the walls of the bird-hide (we've spoken to him about this). What you refer to as the swamp is actually a healthy wetlands environment home to birds, frogs and invertebrates. We've spent many, many hours keeping the water quality in pristine condition over the past 12 months. After much preparation, we've recently introduced fingerlings of native fish. The rise and fall of the wetlands water level naturally exposes some mud that can produce a fertile aroma on occasion. This is completely normal part of the seasonal changes of a healthy wetland ecosystem. Just for others that might be reading this review: the cost is $60 for a family of 4 to visit the wetlands, mazes, carousel and games garden. The optional/additional $20 fee you paid covers the cost of the 18 hole mini golf course and a peddle boating experience. We are confident that these fees represent good value for money. Thanks again for your review - your feedback has helped us to improve our service and reminded our team how important it is to provide attention to detail even during a busy peak period. Best regards, Nelly.

why didn't I take the hint of the most recent review!. I always like to give the benefit of the doubt, as some people can be really critical and unrealistic.
This place was disgusting!. and unfortunately you don't know till to pass the doors into the property just what you're in for. Entrance is pleasant and then what!.
I came hear with my five year to use the water slide and paddle facilities. Overgrown grass, insect and god knows what else infested pond to paddle in. Thank god my son was oblivious to lack of care as I cringed through the pond with the paddle boat I couldn't wait to get out!. and the water slide, OMG, no where to place our things, but in long grass and climb the filthy steps of a slide which was the only draw card in this instance, because my son enjoyed the thrill I put on a brave face, not to ruin his experience. Came away with friction burn from slamming into the side of the slide which is possibly unavoidable but seriously!. Is anyone taking care of this place or just taking money at a ridiculous rate for what you get. Appalling and shame on you for stooging people with a completely misleading website.

Overpriced! pretty poor customer service, too many staff but none offered any assistant, they just looked at you for few seconds and back to their phones/paperworks/gossip.
Mazes are pretty simple and terrible as we can see through and even go through the hedges.
