A very dilapidated castle which is now difficult to imagine what it was without the description board at the door. It main attraction is the stunning views overlooking Sark and Guernsey.

An ancient castle on the NW corner of Jersey, with the glowering concrete bunkers of German engineering alongside. With views stretching out over the Channel what a place. The castle only had 3 walls, the cliffs were the 4th side, I loved it.

Not a great deal to see now after the ravages of time. Walked from Batterie Moltke to Grosnez so an interesting walk. A Nazi bunker free zone which was a surprise as Grosnez Castle is very prominent.

This is the oldest and a ruin so don't expect to see much as there is little left of it! That said it's a great spot and beautiful to walk around and explore but not for people with poor mobility

Strange place for a castle, badly designed for defence and no water, apart from that great place for a fort!

Although there is not much left of this castle it was good to see. The ruins give you an idea on what went on after it was built in the 14th Century. This was a place where farmers could seek refuse from the French, however...More

What a beautiful place, great scenery & outstanding views. We spent a couple of hours here exploring & taking in the breathtaking views - especially the sunset what a treat to see that at a wonderful location.

Lovely views from these ruins out towards the other Channel Islands. There is not very much left of the buildings and you need to be sure footed when visiting, but nevertheless what is here is interesting and worth coming to see. You turn down to...More
