An impressive job has been done of packing so much information and so many artefacts into a small space. Well worth a visit if you are at all interested in the German occupation of Jersey.

Well worth the visit and so interesting to hear and feel the experience of being in an underground bunker. The engineering involved in those days is amazing! Why this isn’t publicised in Jersey as I would recommend all to appreciate the planning and works involved...More

It was my first time but my boyfriend has been many times before and was like my own private tour guide. Lots of interesting displays which make you feel sad that the war happened.

The site is interesting but it is also very interesting the location in a quite wild place surrounded by the sea. There are old structure created during the second world war.

Will admit we were unable to get inside any bunkers when they were open - as a volunteer set up they usually only open for weekends - although joining a half or full day tour (at cost) does get you midweek access! However you can...More

There is clearly some confusion on here about what people are reviewing. We stumbled on Batterie Lothringen on a weekday afternoon and it was only open as the volunteer Paul Burnal - who pretty much runs this attraction single-handedly - was there painting doors. What...More

Not sure exaclty what this lisiting refers to but my son and I walked around the Grosnez headland along the beach and down to Corbiere headlands. We saw numerous bunkers and installations that had clearly been cared for - either in an effort to make...More

During our recent trip, I and my fiancée visited Corbiere strong-point and the gun battery near Les Landes, on Sunday 19/07/2015. The volunteer staff of CIOS were present at both locations and provided a very knowledgable and informative experience, never mind giving access to the...More
