Despite the 3 year long drought, the valley is flooded on a length of more than 60 km due to a recently completed dam. The ancient village of Bo'ai is under water, all villages have been rebuild further uphill - nothing ancient left. The blue lake still is kind of beautiful, but if you are after ancient style rural china... More
