Lighthouse allows your to go up and have a look around. Views from top are decent - not spectacular, but a decent view and you don't have to be crowded as not a lot of people stop here.
Not the most beautiful lighthouse, but is a decent spot and as the other ones, its a nice spot to take a break while driving and allows you to stretch and have a small snack break.
Entry to lighthouse is 3 cad.

We have always made a point of stopping & patronizing this delightful little lighthouse on our numerous trips around the Gaspe. It has fallen is disrepair over the years due to the harsh climate of Quebec winters & seaside location but the cafe & gift shop has beautiful local hand made knitted items such as socks, caps & mittens, beautiful one of a kind baby items, hand woven rugs & wood working projects like tables & sculptures and jewelry as well as the usual suspects in souvenir items like coffee mugs, bags, pens etc. The cafe has delicious home made sandwiches & soups and drinks served with a personal touch. For $2 you can climb the lighthouse. Take your kids! Clean restrooms & good travel information can be found here as well.

There are multitudes of lighthouses on the east coast of Canada, and the Gaspe Peninsula is no exception. When you see the first one, it's all excitement because it's unique, but after a number of them, you're asking yourself, "Is this worth a stop?"
With that in mind, this one is worth the stop. Of course there is a lighthouse photo op, but there is also a small museum, rest rooms, a small cafe, as well as a small gift shop. The gift shop has well thought out selections. We would have tried the cafe, but we are not into salmon, and the other fare offered. It otherwise looked like they knew what they were doing, which is important when you're eating in a location unknown to yourself. (Watch for full parking lots. That's always a good sign.)
The views are great, of course. The staff is friendly, and seem to "go with the place," as if they have lived here all their lives. So, as far as lighthouses go, this is worth it.

We wanted to see as many lighthouses as we could on the Gaspe! This is one of our favorite spots with a lighthouse, museum, gift and lunch shop.
Lovely setting and places to relax!

The lighthouse is ok, but to get the whole local experience you have to stop and eat at the small not-for-profit restaurant. For $10 you get a smoked salmon bagel with at least $8 worth of smoked salmon in it plus small sides!!! The "sucre à la crème" for takeout is a must-snack. This is as much as a local/homemade experience you can get!

Quick stop. Amazing weathered lighthouse at Cap Madeleine. Resto but didn't eat there. Small museum. $3 to go up to the top. Worth the stop.
